Located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Legends Golf Resort is home to three contrasting championship courses: Heathland, Moorland and Parkland. The Heathland Course was designed by Tom Doak and opened in 1990. Playing to a par of 71, it takes inspiration from the classic links courses of the British Isles, with broad playing corridors, relatively few trees and natural-looking contours. The open landscape leaves golfers exposed to the breeze, while deep bunkers and thick rough provide much of the challenge. Rather than simply demanding power, Heathland encourages creativity, thoughtful positioning and the ability to adapt shots to changing conditions. It was named among GOLF Magazine's Top 10 New Resort Courses in the World following its opening and was recognised by Golfweek among South Carolina's leading public-access courses in 2025.

The Moorland Course provides a completely different experience. Designed by P.B. Dye and also opened in 1990, this par-72 layout features dramatic elevation changes, large expanses of sand, water, waste areas and strongly contoured green complexes. Its bold design has drawn comparisons with the Stadium Course at PGA West and requires confident decision-making throughout the round. One of its best-known holes is the short par-four 16th, where the enormous bunker protecting the green is appropriately known as Hell's Half Acre. Moorland has previously been recognised by Golf Digest among America's toughest courses.

Completing the on-site trio is the Parkland Course, a par-72 layout opened in 1992. Designed by Larry Young, it provides a more traditional Carolina-style challenge, with contoured tree-lined fairways, extensive natural areas, deep-faced bunkers and large multi-level greens. Its sheltered woodland character creates a strong contrast to the openness of Heathland and the dramatic shaping of Moorland, with accuracy and strategic approach play particularly important.

Golfers also have access to the resort's 30-acre lighted practice facility, one of the largest in the Myrtle Beach area, providing plenty of space to warm up or work on different parts of the game.
