We particularly like the convenience of staying here. Breakfast can be followed by a short walk to the golf facilities rather than a long morning transfer, and once the final putt drops you can head straight back into the hotel for a drink, meal or some time in the spa.

The spa is a genuine highlight. There are eight treatment rooms offering ELEMIS treatments alongside an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and relaxation facilities. Hotel guests can also use the fully equipped fitness centre, and there are tennis courts for anyone looking for something different away from the golf course.

Dining is centred around The Grill Restaurant, which overlooks the golf course and provides a relaxed setting for dinner after your round.
