Oporto Golf Club is one of Portugal’s most historic golfing venues, offering a traditional links experience beside the Atlantic coast near Espinho. The fourth is regarded as one of the course’s most demanding holes, while the 11th is a challenging 494-metre par five where reaching the green in regulation requires two excellent shots. Both nine-hole loops finish with more approachable par fives, creating exciting opportunities to recover shots towards the end of the round. The club’s heritage is also reflected in the Skeffington Cup, a competition first played here in 1891.
