All three loops were designed by Robert Trent Jones II, with each using the natural landscape in a different way. The Sky Course is the longest of the three and has a more open feel, where water, wind and exposed landscapes create much of the challenge. This is the nine where controlling your ball flight can become particularly important, especially when the Danish breeze gets involved.

The Sand Course changes the character of the golf with generous fairways running through gently rolling terrain. Strategic bunkering is the main defence, so while there is often room from the tee, finding the correct side of the fairway can make a big difference to the following approach. Sweeping views across the surrounding countryside add to what is a very enjoyable nine.

The Forest Course is shorter and more enclosed, winding through peaceful, nature-rich surroundings. Accuracy and positioning become increasingly important as the holes work through the woodland, giving the Forest nine a noticeably different feel from the more open Sky and Sand courses.

That contrast is one of the things we like most about Lübker. You can play several rounds during a stay without feeling as though you are simply repeating the same course. The quality of the championship layout was also demonstrated when Lübker hosted the DP World Tour Danish Golf Championship in 2024.

The practice facilities are excellent too. Alongside the 27 championship holes is a nine-hole Academy Course, an extensive practice area with TrackMan Range technology, indoor TrackMan simulators, PGA professional tuition and a Pro Shop and Fitting Centre.
