Nami by Bernardus Awarded Michelin Star: Another Reason to Visit This Luxury Dutch Golf Resort

There is another reason to add Bernardus to your next golf holiday in the Netherlands, and this time it has nothing to do with the fairways.

Nami by Bernardus has been awarded a Michelin star in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide Netherlands, less than six months after the restaurant relaunched with a completely new culinary identity.

Located within the Bernardus Golf estate in Cromvoirt, near ’s-Hertogenbosch, Nami has quickly established itself as a destination for food lovers as well as golfers.

For us at Hashtag Golf Travel, this is exactly the sort of development that makes a luxury golf break even more appealing.

A Fresh Culinary Experience at Bernardus

Previously known as Noble Kitchen, the restaurant already had Michelin recognition before undergoing its transformation into Nami earlier in 2026.

The new concept focuses on Nikkei cuisine, bringing together Japanese cooking techniques with the bold flavours of South America.

Led by Executive Head Chef Tom Schoonus and chef Carlo Lago, the restaurant combines carefully prepared dishes with a relaxed, personal style of hospitality.

The transformation also included redesigned interiors by Pieter Laureys, creating a more intimate dining environment.

The Michelin star, announced on 5 October 2026, recognises the team's success in establishing this new identity while maintaining the restaurant's high culinary standards.

Championship Golf Meets Michelin-Starred Dining

Of course, the main attraction for many visitors remains the outstanding golf.

Designed by Kyle Phillips, Bernardus Golf has become one of the most talked-about championship courses in the Netherlands, having hosted the Dutch Open and the 2026 Solheim Cup.

We love the idea of combining a round on this championship layout with a Michelin-starred dining experience later that evening.

It's also a fantastic option for couples or groups celebrating a special occasion.

Guests can stay at the intimate Bernardus Lodge, which offers just eight rooms, allowing golfers to enjoy the course, dining and wider estate without needing to travel elsewhere.

Add the excellent practice facilities, wellness amenities and beautiful countryside setting, and Bernardus offers considerably more than a straightforward golf break.

Our Verdict

At Hashtag Golf Travel, we've always believed that the best golf holidays are about more than the golf itself.

A memorable course is important, but so are the accommodation, service, atmosphere and those experiences that make the trip feel special.

Nami's Michelin star gives Bernardus another major selling point, particularly for golfers who appreciate excellent food as much as excellent golf.

And with the championship course, luxury Lodge and Michelin-starred restaurant all in one location, Bernardus is becoming an increasingly attractive destination for a premium European golf escape.

For anyone planning a luxury golf holiday in the Netherlands, we think Bernardus deserves a place near the top of the list.
