Sueno Golf Club

Belek

average rating is 5 out of 5

Sueno Golf Club is one of Belek’s most complete golfing venues, offering two contrasting 18-hole championship courses within a beautiful landscape of umbrella pines, lakes and natural sandy areas. With 36 holes in one location and accommodation positioned beside the fairways, it is particularly well suited to golf groups wanting several rounds without the need for daily transfers.

The Pines Course is the longer and more demanding of the two layouts. Playing to a par of 72 and measuring 6,413 metres from the back tees, it winds through mature woodland with water, natural-style bunkering and narrow landing areas creating a strong strategic test. Accurate driving is important, but good positioning matters just as much, as approaches from the wrong side of the fairway can be blocked by trees or forced across hazards.

The Dunes Course offers a shorter but still entertaining challenge. This par-69 layout measures 5,643 metres and combines parkland-style holes with rolling ground, lakes and waste bunkers. Its more manageable length makes it an enjoyable choice for mixed-handicap groups, although water and carefully positioned sand ensure golfers must continue to think their way around.

Both courses were created by International Design Group, with Andrew Craven serving as head designer. Across the complex, numerous lakes and bunkers create plenty of risk-and-reward decisions, while four sets of tees allow golfers to select a suitable level of difficulty.

Practice facilities are among the most extensive in Belek, including a 300-metre driving range, grass and covered teeing stations, a large putting green and separate areas for chipping, pitching and bunker play. After the round, golfers can enjoy food and drinks overlooking the courses from the clubhouse bars and restaurant.

Away from golf, Belek offers sandy Mediterranean beaches, resort spas and shopping, while the ancient theatre at Aspendos provides an excellent cultural trip between rounds.

About The Area

Sarigerme is an exciting new choice for a golf holiday in Turkey, combining a long sandy beach, luxury all-inclusive resorts and remarkably easy access from the UK. This peaceful coastal village sits approximately 11 kilometres from Dalaman International Airport, allowing golfers to reach their hotel in around 15–20 minutes after landing.

The destination’s golfing appeal centres on The Dalaman Golf Club, which is scheduled to open on 30 August 2026. The new 18-hole, par-72 championship course will be the first golf venue in the region, creating an alternative to Turkey’s established golf resorts around Belek. Designed by Andrew Craven of International Design Group, the 6,750-yard layout moves through three distinctive environments: dunes, wetlands and mountain scenery.

Golfers can expect strategically positioned bunkers, water hazards and changing landscapes, along with a driving range, putting and chipping greens, rental equipment, golf buggies and an academy for different ability levels. A complimentary shuttle will connect the course with Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme Resort & Golf, making it especially convenient for guests staying at the resort.

Away from the course, Sarigerme is known for its broad beach, clear water and attractive natural surroundings. Watersports are widely available, while the compact village centre offers restaurants, cafés and small shops without the noise and crowds of a large resort town.

The wider Dalaman region also provides plenty to explore between rounds. Golfers can visit the harbour town of Göcek, take a boat trip around its sheltered bays or travel to Dalyan for the ancient ruins of Kaunos, riverside restaurants and nearby İztuzu Beach.

With a championship course, short airport transfer and high-quality beachfront accommodation, Sarigerme is set to become one of Turkey’s most interesting emerging golf destinations. It should particularly suit couples, groups and mixed golfing families who want to combine their rounds with an all-inclusive Mediterranean holiday.
