Lake View Resort and Golf Club is a great choice for golfers who want to stay directly beside the course and enjoy a quieter alternative to central Hua Hin. Located in the countryside around Cha-am, approximately 30–35 minutes from Hua Hin, the resort combines comfortable accommodation with 36 holes of golf, plenty of leisure facilities and the simplicity of having everything you need for a golf break in one place.

The hotel has 75 rooms spread across three floors, giving it a much more relaxed feel than many of the larger beachfront resorts in the region. Rooms are comfortable and practical for a golf holiday, with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, refrigerators, minibars and private balconies. Lake View Resort and Golf Club offers four separate nine-hole layouts – Mountain, Lake, Desert and Links – giving you far more variety than a standard 18-hole resort course. The original layouts were created by Roger Packard, with the Links Course later added by Ronald Fream and David Dale. Being able to combine the different nines means golfers staying for several days can enjoy multiple rounds without simply repeating the same 18 holes.

We particularly like that each loop has a noticeably different character. The Mountain and Lake courses make use of mature trees, natural streams, rolling fairways and water, while the Desert Course changes the look and challenge of the golf. The more open Links Course adds another contrast again, meaning there is plenty to discover across a longer stay.

Away from golf, the resort has an outdoor swimming pool and children's pool, along with tennis facilities and a hot tub. After playing in the Thai sunshine, having the pool just a short walk from your room is always welcome.

There are two restaurants on site, including Tee Off, which serves Thai cuisine alongside a wider choice of dishes throughout the day. A bar and clubhouse facilities also make it easy to settle in for the evening rather than travelling back into Hua Hin after every round.
