The main appeal is the golf. La Cala is home to three championship courses — Campo America, Campo Asia and Campo Europa — all designed by Cabell B. Robinson. Each course has its own character, with rolling hills, strategic bunkering, mountain views and Mediterranean scenery creating plenty of variety across a stay.
For golfers, this means you can enjoy several rounds without constantly travelling between courses. Campo Europa is generally the more forgiving option, with wider fairways and flatter terrain, while the other layouts offer a stronger test across the resort’s natural hillside landscape. There is also a golf academy, practice facilities and a 9-hole par-3 short course, which is handy for warm-ups, mixed-ability groups or a lighter round.
