Green Resort Hrubá Borša is a fantastic option for golfers looking for a peaceful stay-and-play experience within easy reach of Bratislava. Set amongst lakes, landscaped greenery and the fairways of Hrubá Borša Golf Club, the resort offers modern apartment accommodation directly beside the golf course. The resort introduced its dedicated golf accommodation in 2023 and currently offers 10 luxury double apartments, each measuring around 35m². Some can accommodate an additional guest, making them flexible for smaller groups. There is also a larger two-room apartment designed for up to four people. One of the biggest advantages is the location – the apartments are only a few steps from the clubhouse, so getting to an early tee time could hardly be easier.

Golf is naturally at the centre of the experience. Hrubá Borša Golf Club has an 18-hole, par-72 championship course surrounded by lakes and greenery. Water is an important feature throughout the layout, while woodland sections, large bunkers and strategically shaped holes ensure there is plenty to think about. Alongside the championship course is a nine-hole Academy Course, making it easy to add some extra golf or sharpen your short game during a longer stay.

Practice facilities include a driving range, while buggies, manual and electric trolleys and full sets of golf clubs can all be hired directly at the resort. There is also an on-site Golf Shop, so everything you need for a straightforward golf break is conveniently located together.

After your round, Green Tree Restaurant is the natural place to head. Located within the clubhouse, it combines a modern interior with a large terrace positioned directly beside the lake and fountain. We think that waterside setting is ideal for sitting down with something to eat and a drink while going over the best – and worst – shots of the day.

The resort also works well as a base for exploring more of western Slovakia. Senec is nearby, while Bratislava can easily be incorporated into the trip for its Old Town, restaurants, bars and Danube waterfront.
