Kimpton Quinta da Marinha Cascais
Cascais
The Quinta da Marinha Resort comprises of two hotels, private villas, extensive leisure and dining facilities and an 18-hole golf course. It is located in a quiet area close to the resort of Cascais, the beach at Guincho, several other golf courses and Lisbon is just 30 minutes’ drive away. The resort’s villas have every facility necessary for a great year-round golfing holiday. They have been recently refurbished, with modern design and decor, the villas are designed in a traditional Portuguese style with a modern contemporary feel. The villas have either one or two bedrooms, a living room with fireplace, kitchenette and a large terrace, perfect for drinks and relaxing after golf. For larger groups we can reserve villas close together so that you have your own group space away from the hotel and other clients. There are 44 villas scattered throughout the grounds close to the golf course and unlike many other villa complexes, these do benefit from daily cleaning and access to all of the adjacent hotel’s facilities which include two restaurants, a bar, spa, fitness centre, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Residents get priority access and reduced rates at the Quinta da Marinha golf course on-site.

About The Area
Estoril is a brilliant choice for golfers who want a Portugal golf holiday with classic coastal glamour, easy Lisbon access and excellent courses close by. Set on the Lisbon Coast between the capital and Cascais, it combines beach time, restaurants, casino evenings, seafront walks and a polished resort feel, making it ideal for couples, groups and short golf breaks.
The main golfing highlight is Estoril Golf Club, one of Portugal’s oldest and most emblematic clubs. The Estoril Championship Course began in 1929 and was redesigned in 1936 by Mackenzie Ross. It is just 25 minutes from Lisbon and only a few minutes from hotels, restaurants, the casino and Estoril beach, which makes it wonderfully convenient for a golf holiday. The 18-hole, par-69 course measures around 5,200 metres and places more emphasis on accuracy and tactics than sheer power.
Estoril also works well for golfers who want more variety. Penha Longa, Quinta da Marinha and Oitavos Dunes are all within easy reach around Cascais and Sintra, giving you access to parkland, resort and Atlantic-influenced golf within one trip.
Away from the fairways, the wider Cascais area adds beaches, seafood, museums, parks, gardens and year-round events, while Lisbon is close enough for sightseeing, rooftop bars, Fado nights and historic neighbourhoods.
For UK golfers, Estoril is ideal for a tailor-made Portugal golf break, whether you want a relaxed Lisbon Coast escape or a multi-course itinerary. Hashtag Golf Travel can help plan the right hotels, tee times, transfers and extras.
