Set within 200 acres of rolling West Yorkshire countryside, Hollins Hall Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-71 championship layout enjoying panoramic views across the Aire Valley towards the Yorkshire Dales. Combining mature parkland with the natural features of the farmland that previously occupied the site, the course provides an attractive and varied test within easy reach of both Leeds and Bradford.

Opened in 1999, the course was designed by Ross McMurray and makes good use of the undulating landscape. Rather than relying on length alone, Hollins Hall challenges golfers with changes in elevation, strategically positioned bunkers, water hazards and large, undulating greens. Traditional features including old stone walls and mature trees have been incorporated into the layout, helping the course retain plenty of character despite being a relatively modern design.

Multiple teeing areas are available on each hole, allowing the course to provide an appropriate challenge for golfers of different abilities. From the back tees it stretches to more than 6,600 yards, while shorter tee options make the layout more accessible for higher handicappers. All of the tees and greens have been constructed to USGA standards, while the course operates without dedicated winter tees, helping to maintain a consistent playing experience throughout the year.

One of the standout holes arrives at the par-four 14th, known as The Viaduct. Played from an elevated tee, the hole asks golfers to negotiate fairway bunkers, a dogleg and water hazards before approaching a two-tier green. The historic stone railway viaduct provides a distinctive backdrop and helps make the 14th one of the most memorable holes on the course.

Hollins Hall also has tournament pedigree, having previously hosted events on the PGA EuroPro Championship Tour. That history reflects the quality and challenge of the layout, although the choice of tees means visiting golfers do not need to be low handicappers to enjoy a round.

Practice facilities include a driving range equipped with Toptracer technology, giving golfers the opportunity to warm up before playing or spend additional time working on their game. Golf carts and dedicated buggy paths are also available, while the clubhouse and golf reception provide convenient facilities before and after a round.
