Cornelia Golf Club

Belek

average rating is 5 out of 5

Cornelia Golf Club is one of Belek’s standout golfing venues, offering 27 holes of championship golf designed by six-time Major winner Sir Nick Faldo. Set within a beautiful pine forest close to Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, the course combines natural sand dunes, mature woodland, water hazards and strategic bunkering to create a memorable challenge for visiting golfers.

The 27 holes are divided into three nine-hole loops, which combine to form the King, Queen and Prince courses. Each 18-hole combination plays to a par of 72, giving golfers the opportunity to experience different routings over several rounds. This makes Cornelia particularly well suited to golf groups and longer stays, as players can return without simply repeating the same course.

The Faldo design rewards thoughtful course management. Elevated tees and greens, varied doglegs and carefully positioned hazards encourage golfers to consider angles and landing areas rather than relying solely on distance. The fairways weave through the pine trees, while the natural dune ridge creates changes in elevation that are unusual for many courses in Belek. Water influences several holes, adding further risk-and-reward decisions throughout the round.

Cornelia Golf Club also offers extensive practice facilities, including a driving range, putting greens and dedicated chipping and pitching areas. After golf, the clubhouse restaurant and terrace provide a relaxing place to enjoy food and drinks while taking in views towards the Taurus Mountains.

Away from the course, golfers can relax on Belek’s Mediterranean beaches, enjoy the spas and restaurants at the surrounding resorts or explore some of the Antalya region’s historic attractions. The remarkably preserved Roman theatre at Aspendos is particularly close, while the ancient ruins and waterfront restaurants of Side also make an excellent day trip.

For golfers seeking strategic championship golf, excellent practice facilities and three different course combinations in one location, Cornelia Golf Club is an essential part of a Belek golf holiday.

About The Area

Sarigerme is an exciting new choice for a golf holiday in Turkey, combining a long sandy beach, luxury all-inclusive resorts and remarkably easy access from the UK. This peaceful coastal village sits approximately 11 kilometres from Dalaman International Airport, allowing golfers to reach their hotel in around 15–20 minutes after landing.

The destination’s golfing appeal centres on The Dalaman Golf Club, which is scheduled to open on 30 August 2026. The new 18-hole, par-72 championship course will be the first golf venue in the region, creating an alternative to Turkey’s established golf resorts around Belek. Designed by Andrew Craven of International Design Group, the 6,750-yard layout moves through three distinctive environments: dunes, wetlands and mountain scenery.

Golfers can expect strategically positioned bunkers, water hazards and changing landscapes, along with a driving range, putting and chipping greens, rental equipment, golf buggies and an academy for different ability levels. A complimentary shuttle will connect the course with Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme Resort & Golf, making it especially convenient for guests staying at the resort.

Away from the course, Sarigerme is known for its broad beach, clear water and attractive natural surroundings. Watersports are widely available, while the compact village centre offers restaurants, cafés and small shops without the noise and crowds of a large resort town.

The wider Dalaman region also provides plenty to explore between rounds. Golfers can visit the harbour town of Göcek, take a boat trip around its sheltered bays or travel to Dalyan for the ancient ruins of Kaunos, riverside restaurants and nearby İztuzu Beach.

With a championship course, short airport transfer and high-quality beachfront accommodation, Sarigerme is set to become one of Turkey’s most interesting emerging golf destinations. It should particularly suit couples, groups and mixed golfing families who want to combine their rounds with an all-inclusive Mediterranean holiday.
