Infinitum Golf
Tarragona
Infinitum Golf is one of Spain’s leading golf venues, offering 45 holes across three contrasting courses on the Costa Daurada. Located close to Salou and Tarragona, the club combines championship golf with protected wetlands, Mediterranean pine forests, coastal cliffs and ancient Roman remains.
The 18-hole Lakes Course was designed by Greg Norman and opened in 2008. Playing to a par of 71 and measuring 6,317 metres from the back tees, it winds around the protected Sèquia Major wetlands. Water affects play on 14 holes, making accurate driving and sensible positioning essential. The fairways provide opportunities to score, but ambitious shots can quickly find lakes, reeds or strategically placed bunkers. Its closing par five presents a thrilling risk-and-reward finish for golfers tempted to attack the green in two.
The Hills Course offers a completely different experience, moving through white-pine woodland before reaching elevated holes overlooking the Mediterranean. Changes in level, tree-lined fairways and dramatic coastal views create a scenic but demanding test where careful club selection is just as important as distance.
The nine-hole Ruins Course was also designed by Greg Norman and runs among Roman archaeological remains dating from the second century BC. Carob and olive trees frame the holes, while varied and undulating greens provide a stern examination of approach play and putting. It is ideal for a shorter round or as an additional nine during a longer golf break.
Infinitum also provides extensive practice facilities, professional coaching and two welcoming clubhouses with restaurants, shops and terraces. The venue regularly hosts the final stage of the DP World Tour Qualifying School, reflecting the quality and presentation of its courses.
After golf, visitors can explore Tarragona’s Roman landmarks, relax on the Costa Daurada’s beaches, visit nearby Salou or enjoy the rides and attractions at PortAventura World. The vineyards of Priorat also make an excellent day trip for wine tasting and Catalan cuisine.
