Las Ramblas Golf is one of the Costa Blanca’s most distinctive and technical golf courses, set among Mediterranean pine trees and natural ravines near Dehesa de Campoamor. Rather than following a conventional resort-style layout, the course has been carefully fitted into rugged terrain, creating dramatic changes in elevation, memorable tee shots and a round that rewards imagination and careful planning.
Designed by renowned Spanish architect Pepe Gancedo, Las Ramblas opened in 1991. The 18-hole, par-72 course measures approximately 5,914 metres from the back tees. Although it is shorter than many modern championship courses, its narrow playing corridors, natural gullies, doglegs and strategically positioned hazards ensure that length alone offers little advantage.
Accuracy and course management are vital. Several holes ask golfers to play across or alongside ravines, while slopes can move apparently well-struck shots away from their intended target. Choosing an iron or hybrid from the tee is often wiser than automatically reaching for the driver. The wide, fast and gently sloping greens provide another challenge, placing extra importance on approach-shot positioning and confident putting.
Las Ramblas is particularly appealing to experienced golfers who enjoy creative, strategic layouts, although different teeing options allow mixed-handicap groups to choose a suitable challenge. A course guide or local knowledge can be especially useful during a first round, as some of the safest routes and landing areas are not immediately obvious from the tee.
Practice facilities include a driving range, putting green and approach area. The modern clubhouse also provides changing facilities, a pro shop and a restaurant with terraces overlooking the course, creating a relaxed place for food and drinks after the round.
Away from golf, visitors can enjoy the beaches, marina and waterfront restaurants of Dehesa de Campoamor. Cabo Roig, La Zenia and Torrevieja are also within easy reach, offering coastal walks, shopping, tapas bars and plenty of choices for an evening beside the Mediterranean.

Sant Jordi is a quiet inland village in northern Castellón, close to the Costa Azahar coastline. It works well for golfers who want a peaceful base with easy access to beaches, small towns and a proper golf-focused resort setting. Castellón Tourism describes Sant Jordi as being around 12 km from Vinaròs and only around 8 minutes from the beaches of the Costa Azahar, so it gives you a nice mix of countryside calm and coastal access.
The main golf draw is Panorámica Golf, Sport & Resort, located in Sant Jordi. Opened in 1995, the course is set among olive and carob trees and is especially notable because it is the only golf course in Spain designed by Bernhard Langer. The official course information describes it as one of the best courses in Spain, while booking/course listings put the layout at 18 holes, par 72, measuring around 6,330–6,429 metres depending on tee/source reference.
For a golf holiday, Sant Jordi is best treated as a stay-and-play or quiet Costa Azahar base rather than a lively resort town. The course gives golfers the main reason to stay locally, while nearby Vinaròs, Benicarló and Peñíscola add beaches, seafood, old-town wandering and evening options. It is also useful for travellers who want something less obvious than the Costa del Sol or Alicante golf areas.
