Livada Golf Course
Moravske Toplice
Livada Golf Course is a great choice for golfers looking for a relaxed Slovenia golf holiday with spa facilities, countryside scenery and an enjoyable 18-hole layout. Set in Moravske Toplice, beside the Terme 3000 thermal spa resort, the course sits in the peaceful Prekmurje region, close to Slovenia’s borders with Austria, Hungary and Croatia. That makes it a lovely option for a golf break with a slightly different European feel.
The 18-hole Livada Golf Course is a par-72 layout measuring 6,236 metres from the back tees. Spread across more than 50 hectares, it has a mostly flat, open feel, with wide fairways, water hazards, shaped greens and patches of rough that add enough challenge without making the round feel too punishing. It is suitable for both newer golfers and more experienced players, which works well for couples, groups and mixed-handicap golf holidays.
The course is best known for its 9th hole, a par five of almost 600 metres and widely noted as the longest hole in Slovenia. It gives the round a memorable talking point, especially for golfers who enjoy a proper long-hole challenge.
Away from the course, the big appeal is the spa resort setting. Golfers can stay close to the fairways, enjoy Terme 3000’s thermal pools and wellness facilities, and explore the food, wine and countryside of Prekmurje. For a Slovenia golf break that mixes easy-going golf with proper relaxation, Livada Golf Course is a strong option.
