VidaMar Resort Hotel Madeira is a five-star oceanfront resort in Funchal, offering spacious accommodation, extensive leisure facilities and convenient access to Madeira’s two principal golf courses. Santo da Serra is around 30 minutes from the hotel and provides 27 holes designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior, with fairways running through mature woodland and colourful Madeiran vegetation. Selected hotel packages also include golf transfers, subject to availability.

The resort’s sea-level platform provides direct access to the Atlantic, alongside three seawater swimming pools and a separate children’s pool. Guests can also use the complimentary Aqua Area, which includes an indoor heated pool, sauna and hot tub. The Thalasso Sea Spa offers a dedicated thalassotherapy pool, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi and treatments for an additional charge.

Five restaurants provide plenty of choice during longer stays. Half-board guests can use the Dine Around concept, combining the Ocean Buffet Restaurant with selected speciality dining options. These include Italian cooking at Mamma Mia, traditional Madeiran flavours at Casa das Espetadas, seafood at Sabor a Mar and Japanese dishes at Koi Sushi.
