Otepää is one of Estonia’s best inland golf destinations, set among rolling hills, forests and lakes in the south of the country. It feels very different from the Tallinn-area courses: quieter, greener and more nature-led, with a proper countryside escape feel. The main venue is Otepää Golf & Country Club, a full-size 18-hole championship PAR73 course and one of Estonia’s strongest golf layouts. The course is set in ancient forest between lakes within Otepää Nature Park, giving it a peaceful, natural setting with plenty of variety from hole to hole.
Golf here is more undulating than many Estonian courses, so it rewards thoughtful club selection and good positioning rather than simply hitting it long.
