Dale Hill Hotel is a four-star countryside golf hotel set within more than 350 acres on the Kent and East Sussex border. With 50 bedrooms, two on-site golf courses and useful leisure facilities, it provides everything needed for a convenient golf break without requiring daily transfers.

The hotel’s contemporary en-suite accommodation includes standard, superior, family and executive rooms. Many enjoy views across the golf courses and surrounding High Weald countryside, while selected executive rooms include balconies and separate relaxation areas. Golfers have direct access to two contrasting 18-hole parkland courses. The Ian Woosnam Course was designed by the former Masters champion and opened in 1997. It covers almost 200 acres, with undulating ground, woodland and far-reaching views creating a substantial but playable championship test.

The shorter Old Course has a more traditional character. Its tree-lined holes and smaller greens place greater emphasis on accuracy and approach play, making it an enjoyable companion to the longer Woosnam layout. A driving range and practice putting greens are also available.

The Wealden View Restaurant serves breakfast and dinner overlooking the Sussex countryside. Guests can also choose lighter meals, afternoon tea and drinks in the hotel’s lounge and bar areas.

After golf, the leisure club provides an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and air-conditioned gym. These facilities also make Dale Hill suitable for couples and mixed parties where not everyone plans to play every round.

The rural location feels peaceful, yet Tunbridge Wells, Bewl Water and several historic Sussex and Kent attractions are within easy reach. Its two-course set-up works particularly well for one or two-night golf breaks and society weekends.
