Medellín is an exciting base for a Colombian golf holiday, combining mountain-framed courses with excellent restaurants, colourful neighbourhoods and a mild climate that has earned it the nickname “the City of Eternal Spring”. Away from golf, we recommend exploring Comuna 13 with a local guide, riding the Metrocable for views across the valley and visiting Parque Arví for walking and cycling. The Botanical Garden provides a gentler afternoon, while the restaurants of El Poblado and Laureles are ideal for trying bandeja paisa, arepas, grilled meats and Colombian coffee.

Medellín works best as a carefully organised city-and-golf break, offering distinctive courses, lively evenings and an excellent starting point for exploring Antioquia.
