Set within the 450-acre Lake Reba recreational complex, this 7,100-yard, par-72 course gives visiting golfers plenty of space, five tee box options and a good test without losing that friendly municipal feel. Boone’s Trace National Golf Club is another useful Richmond option, open to the public and ideal if your group wants to add an extra round nearby.

Away from the course, Richmond gives the trip real Kentucky character. We would recommend Fort Boonesborough State Park, where visitors can explore the area’s pioneer history by the Kentucky River. Lake Reba is also ideal for a slower non-golf afternoon, while nearby Berea adds craft shops, Appalachian culture and scenic walking routes.
