Martin's Red
Tubize
Martin's Red is located on the site of the Belgian Football Center in Tubize − the training centre of the Red Devils as well as many other teams in all categories (professional teams, up-and-coming hopefuls, foreign delegations, ...). The hotel offers facilities optimised for players training in the centre, but it also gives preferential treatment to holiday-makers and business travellers. With its polished contemporary design, extensive glass surfaces, very attentive staff and perfectly integrated sports references, Martin’s Red invites you to enjoy a stay with the comforts of home. At the corner of a corridor, you may cross paths with the Red Devils’ coach (he stays here regularly with his staff) or perhaps with one of the Red Devils before an international match on Belgian soil.

About The Area
Tubize is a practical Walloon Brabant base for golfers who want countryside golf within easy reach of Brussels, Waterloo and the wider Brabant region. It is not a major resort town, but it works well as a quiet, well-placed stop for golf groups who prefer easy transfers, local restaurants and nearby courses rather than staying in the centre of Brussels.
The strongest nearby venue is Golf Château de la Tournette, around the Nivelles/Ittre area. The estate covers 160 hectares and offers three courses: L’Anglais, an 18-hole par-71 course; L’Américain, an 18-hole par-72 course; and L’Orival, a shorter 9-hole par-27 course. That makes it especially useful for mixed-ability groups, as stronger golfers can play the two main courses while newer or more casual players still have a suitable option.
Another good option is Golf Club Enghien, which adds a different style of Belgian countryside golf. The course is an 18-hole parkland layout in and around the historic Enghien Castle park, with tree-lined and open holes, brooks, ponds and natural undulations shaping the round. It is more relaxed than a big championship resort, but still has enough variety and water in play to keep things interesting.
Golf around Tubize is best from April to October, with late spring and early autumn usually giving the nicest balance of course condition, comfortable temperatures and quieter tee times.
Off the course, Tubize is useful rather than flashy. Visit Wallonia lists the local tourist office in Tubize and highlights nearby ideas such as the Coeurcq ponds, the Petit Moulin d’Arenberg in Rebecq and local attractions around Braine-le-Château. Brussels, Waterloo, Nivelles and Halle are all close enough for food, history and easy day trips.
For golfers seeking accessible Belgian countryside golf, good links to Brussels and a quieter Walloon Brabant base, Tubize is a simple but handy choice.
