Golf Eichenheim
Kitzbühel
Golf Eichenheim is one of the standout courses for an Austria golf holiday, offering dramatic alpine golf on the edge of Kitzbühel. Set on the Eichenheim plateau, just a short drive from the town centre, the course is surrounded by the Kitzbühel Alps, with steep rock faces, natural streams, woodland and mountain views creating a properly memorable setting.
The course is an 18-hole championship layout, designed by Kyle Phillips and opened in 2000. Playing to par 71 and measuring 6,092 metres, it offers a strong test without losing its holiday appeal. The routing makes excellent use of the natural terrain, with long holes, elevation changes, streams and forests all adding to the challenge.
For travelling golfers, Eichenheim works beautifully as part of a Kitzbühel golf break. The course has a polished resort feel, with Gasthaus Eichenheim for food and drinks after the round, while the nearby Grand Tirolia Kitzbühel sits directly by the championship course and adds a luxury stay-and-play option.
As part of a wider Tyrol golf holiday, Eichenheim pairs perfectly with Golfclub Kitzbühel, Schwarzsee-Reith, Westendorf and Rasmushof. Hashtag Golf Travel can help arrange the right flights, hotels, transfers and tee times, creating a smooth alpine golf escape with proper mountain scenery.

About The Area
Haus im Ennstal is a strong alpine base for an Austria golf holiday, especially for travellers who want mountain views, fresh air and a quieter village feel close to Schladming. Set in the Schladming-Dachstein region, it gives golfers access to the Enns Valley, Dachstein scenery, Hauser Kaibling and plenty of summer activities such as hiking, cycling, archery, trail running and mountain lifts.
The main golf draw is Golfclub Schladming-Dachstein, formerly known as Dachstein Tauern Golf & Country Club, located in Haus im Ennstal. It is an 18-hole course designed by Bernhard Langer, sitting at around 750 metres above sea level. The course is known for excellent conditioning, sunny valley scenery and water features that give it a surprisingly resort-style feel for an alpine location.
For a wider itinerary, the Schladming-Dachstein area also gives access to other regional courses, including Schloss Pichlarn, Radstadt, Ennstal-Weissenbach and Windischgarsten, making Haus useful for golfers who want more than one round without moving hotels every night.
Away from golf, Haus im Ennstal works well for walkers, couples and mixed-interest groups. The Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card can include access to over 100 experiences, including mountain railway rides, museums, swimming pools and leisure activities, which is handy for non-golf days.
For Hashtag Golf Travel customers, Haus im Ennstal is best suited to a scenic summer alpine golf escape, a quieter alternative to Kitzbühel or Zell am See, or part of a wider Austria golf itinerary. It is not a nightlife-heavy destination, but for mountain scenery, peaceful hotels and a proper alpine course, it is a very good fit.
