International Day of Charity: Supporting Communities and Causes That Matter

Today marks International Day of Charity, a global day dedicated to recognising the power of generosity, compassion and community support. It’s a moment for individuals, organisations and communities around the world to reflect on the impact that charitable giving can have on people’s lives.

At Hashtag Travel Group, giving back has always been an important part of who we are. Whether through donations, volunteering or fundraising initiatives, we believe businesses have a responsibility to support the communities and causes that make a difference.

Over the past 12 months alone, we are incredibly proud to have donated more than £25,000 to charities and good causes .

Supporting Charities Making a Real Difference

Throughout the year, we’ve been fortunate to support a number of remarkable organisations that work tirelessly to improve lives, support communities and fund vital research.

• St Clare Hospice

• Canary Wharf Contractors Fund

Each of these organisations plays a vital role in supporting people through difficult times, advancing medical research, and strengthening local communities.

Being able to contribute to their work is something we’re extremely proud of.

Community Impact Close to Home

While we support charities across the UK, many of our efforts are closely connected to our local community.

Through our involvement with Great Dunmow Round Table, we’ve been able to support numerous local initiatives and fundraising events that help charities, community groups and individuals in need.

From large-scale community events to smaller local fundraising initiatives, the impact of collective giving can be extraordinary. These events not only raise significant funds but also bring people together, strengthening the community spirit that makes local towns and villages so special.
