About The Area
S’Esgleieta is a great choice for a Mallorca golf holiday if your group wants a peaceful inland base close to Palma, the Serra de Tramuntana and some of the island’s best golf. This tiny village sits at the entrance to the Esporles valley, near the Valldemossa road, with a quiet rural feel and easy access to mountain scenery, traditional villages and the capital.
For golf, S’Esgleieta works brilliantly because you are close to the Arabella Golf Mallorca courses around Son Vida. Golfers can play Golf Son Vida, Golf Son Muntaner and Golf Son Quint, giving the trip three strong 18-hole options within the Palma area. Son Muntaner, Son Vida and Son Quint are part of the European Tour Destinations network, and Son Muntaner has hosted events including the Mallorca Golf Open and Mallorca Ladies Open, so there is proper quality nearby.
Away from the course, this is a lovely base for golfers who enjoy scenery, food and exploring. We would recommend a relaxed afternoon in Esporles, a drive to Valldemossa, or a hike in the Serra de Tramuntana, where the Esporles area offers strong walking routes and mountain views. Palma is also close enough for restaurants, cathedral visits, shopping and harbour evenings.
