Golf Ibiza
Ibiza
Set amongst the beautiful rolling hills of Ibiza's picturesque east coast, Golf Ibiza offers a fantastic golfing experience in the heart of the Balearic Islands. Located near the exclusive residential area of Roca Llisa, between Ibiza Town and Santa Eulalia del Río, this impressive golf complex combines spectacular Mediterranean scenery, challenging fairways and a peaceful countryside setting. As the only golf club on the island, Golf Ibiza is a must-play destination for anyone planning a golf holiday in Ibiza, offering 27 holes across two contrasting courses.
The flagship Golf de Ibiza Course is an 18-hole, par-72 championship layout stretching approximately 6,000 metres. Originally opened in 1992, the course winds through a beautiful natural valley surrounded by pine forests, rolling hills and traditional Mediterranean vegetation. Its narrow fairways, strategically positioned bunkers, natural water hazards and dramatic elevation changes create a demanding but rewarding challenge. Accurate driving and intelligent course management are essential, particularly when the coastal breezes influence playing conditions.
Among the standout holes is the challenging par-four 7th, which features the steepest uphill climb on the course and demands both distance and precision. The spectacular downhill 14th offers a contrasting challenge, with ancient olive trees adding character to the fairway. The demanding closing holes provide a memorable finish, particularly the par-four 18th, where golfers face an uphill approach towards a large, multi-tiered green overlooked by the clubhouse.
For a more relaxed golfing experience, the nine-hole Roca Llisa Course provides an enjoyable alternative. Originally established in 1972 as Ibiza's first golf course, this picturesque layout features flatter, more open fairways, making it particularly appealing for beginners, higher-handicap golfers and those looking to enjoy a shorter round. Mature trees, strategically positioned bunkers and several attractive lakes add interest throughout the course, ensuring there is still plenty to challenge experienced players.
Away from the fairways, golfers can take advantage of excellent practice facilities, including a driving range, putting green and professional coaching for players of all abilities. The welcoming clubhouse features a well-stocked golf shop, equipment hire and the popular Hoyo 19 Restaurant, where guests can enjoy delicious Mediterranean cuisine and refreshing drinks in a relaxed setting overlooking the course.
Golf Ibiza's convenient location also makes it an excellent addition to a wider Ibiza holiday. With stylish hotels in Santa Eulalia, Ibiza Town and Playa d'en Bossa within driving distance, golfers can combine enjoyable rounds with beautiful beaches, waterfront restaurants, traditional villages and the island's famous nightlife.
At Hashtag Golf Travel, we highly recommend Golf Ibiza for couples, friends and golf groups seeking a memorable Mediterranean golf holiday. With two contrasting courses, beautiful natural surroundings and excellent opportunities to explore the island, it's a fantastic choice for combining rewarding golf with year-round sunshine, relaxation and everything Ibiza has to offer.

About The Area
Ibiza’s West Coast is a brilliant choice for a golf holiday if your group wants beach clubs, sunset views and a livelier Mediterranean feel after a round of golf. Around Sant Antoni, Cala Tarida, Cala Conta and Sant Josep, you get some of the island’s most famous coastal scenery, with turquoise coves, boat trips, relaxed restaurants and those classic Ibiza sunset evenings.
For golf, the main option is Golf Ibiza, the island’s only golf venue, over towards Roca Llisa. It has two courses: an 18-hole course and a 9-hole Roca Llisa course, so it works well whether your group wants a full round or a quicker holiday game before heading back to the beach. The 9-hole course is designed for players who only have a couple of hours, which suits the relaxed pace of an Ibiza golf break perfectly.
Away from the course, the West Coast is all about the sea. We would recommend Cala Conta, also known as Platges de Comte, for panoramic views and beautiful swimming spots, while Cala Tarida is a great shout for a beach day with diving nearby. Sant Antoni adds the marina, restaurants, boat trips and sunset bars, while Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta are among the prettiest coves in the area.
Our tip: choose Ibiza West Coast if your group wants a Mediterranean golf break with one convenient golf club, beach days, stylish sunsets and plenty happening after dark.
