Waterlooville is a practical Hampshire base for a South Coast golf break, especially for golfers who want easy access to Portsmouth, Hayling Island, the South Downs and nearby parkland golf. Rome2Rio lists Southampton as the nearest airport at 15.3 miles, while Travelmath puts Southampton Airport at around 22 miles from Waterlooville.
The main golf option is Waterlooville Golf Club, founded in 1907. The club describes it as an 18-hole parkland course measuring 6,550 yards, with tree-lined fairways, water hazards, a practice range and putting green.
