The prevailing Libeccio and Maestrale winds can significantly change club selection and how each hole plays.

Multiple teeing options make Cosmopolitan suitable for different handicaps, although confident ball-striking and good course management will help golfers score well. Practice facilities include a driving range with covered bays, putting and pitching greens, a short-game area and practice bunker. Club hire, trolleys and buggies are also available.
