Belle Dune Golf
Fort-Mahon-Plage
Set within a protected natural area on the Picardy coast, Belle Dune Golf offers one of the most unique and visually striking golf experiences in northern France. Located near Fort-Mahon-Plage, the course is built around dunes, lakes and wildlife-rich landscapes, giving it a peaceful, almost untouched feel.
The 18-hole course stretches to just over 6,300 yards and combines links and parkland elements. Wide fairways provide some forgiveness off the tee, but water hazards, natural rough and strategically placed bunkers ensure there’s still a strong challenge. The ever-present coastal breeze adds another layer of difficulty, particularly on more exposed holes.
What really sets Belle Dune apart is the setting. The course winds through a mix of sand dunes, marshland and open countryside, creating a varied and memorable round where each hole feels different. It’s a course that rewards thoughtful play while allowing golfers to enjoy the surroundings at a relaxed pace.
Part of the Pierre & Vacances resort, Belle Dune also offers on-site accommodation, making it a strong “stay-and-play” option. Its location between Le Touquet and the Baie de Somme makes it a great addition to a northern France golf itinerary.
