The Hotel de Golf de L’Ailette is located near the town of Chamouille in rolling countryside to the north of the Champagne region. It has a lakeside location across the water from the best golf course in the region and 58 spacious rooms with bath, mini-bar, free wi-fi and balcony overlooking Lake Ailette. The hotel has a heated swimming pool open from May to September and an air-conditioned restaurant also with lake views. The terrace is popular in the summer along with the bar. The hotel is located 45 minutes north of Reims and 90 minutes from Calais, so it has easy access from the Channel ports and for exploring the wonderful Champagne region close by. Across the lake is the Golf de l’Ailette, a lovely course that has a mix of holes along the edge of the lake and up into the hills above the clubhouse. L’Ailette is a lovely spot for a peaceful break with some very good golf and plenty to see and do when not on the golf course.
