The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club is one of the Midlands’ most complete golf destinations, offering two 18-hole championship courses and a nine-hole par-three course amid the countryside of Leek Wootton near Warwick. The contrasting Earls and Kings layouts give golfers two very different tests, making the club especially appealing for societies and multi-round golf breaks.

The Earls Course provides the tighter and more traditional challenge. Tree-lined fairways, woodland holes, water hazards and demanding greens place a premium on accuracy and course management, with several tee shots requiring golfers to favour position over outright distance. Its signature 7th hole is a straight par four played from an elevated tee, where an accurate drive is essential to set up the approach.

The Kings Course offers a contrasting American-style parkland experience, characterised by wider fairways, large undulating greens and water hazards throughout. There is greater room from the tee, but lakes repeatedly influence approach shots and create plenty of risk-and-reward decisions. One of the standout par threes requires a carry across water to a two-tier green, while the closing stretch provides a strong finish to the round.

For a shorter round, the nine-hole Castle Course features holes ranging from around 90 to more than 200 yards and works particularly well for short-game practice or some extra golf on arrival day.

Practice facilities are another major strength. The 20-bay Strike Shack driving range features covered, heated bays and Toptracer technology, while PGA coaching is available for individuals and groups.

With hotel accommodation, dining and extensive leisure facilities directly on site, The Warwickshire is an excellent base for a Warwickshire golf break, particularly for groups wanting two contrasting championship courses without having to arrange transfers between rounds.
