Golfclub Kitzbühel

Kitzbühel

average rating is 4 out of 5

Golfclub Kitzbühel is a beautiful choice for golfers who want an alpine golf holiday with scenery, history and easy access to one of Austria’s most famous mountain towns. Set at Ried Kaps in Kitzbühel, the club sits in peaceful parkland around Schloss Kaps, with views across the town and surrounding Tyrolean mountains. The club’s address is listed at Ried Kaps, 6370 Kitzbühel, while Tyrol’s official tourism site describes it as a traditional 9-hole course around Schloss Kaps with more than 60 years of history.

The course is a 9-hole, par-35 layout, but it should not be dismissed as a quick holiday knock. Its alpine parkland setting, water hazards and compact routing create a thoughtful round where accuracy matters, especially around the greens. It is also well suited to golf holidays because it gives visitors a quality round without taking up the whole day, leaving time to enjoy Kitzbühel’s restaurants, shops, walking routes and mountain views.

For golfers planning an Austria golf holiday, Kitzbühel is particularly strong because the wider area offers four golf courses and 54 holes, with additional courses nearby. That makes Golfclub Kitzbühel ideal as part of a multi-course Tyrol itinerary, alongside options such as Schwarzsee-Reith, Eichenheim and Rasmushof.

Hashtag Golf Travel can help build Golfclub Kitzbühel into a tailored Austria golf break, arranging the right flights, hotels, transfers and tee times so golfers can enjoy alpine golf without the planning hassle.

About The Area

Haus im Ennstal is a strong alpine base for an Austria golf holiday, especially for travellers who want mountain views, fresh air and a quieter village feel close to Schladming. Set in the Schladming-Dachstein region, it gives golfers access to the Enns Valley, Dachstein scenery, Hauser Kaibling and plenty of summer activities such as hiking, cycling, archery, trail running and mountain lifts.

The main golf draw is Golfclub Schladming-Dachstein, formerly known as Dachstein Tauern Golf & Country Club, located in Haus im Ennstal. It is an 18-hole course designed by Bernhard Langer, sitting at around 750 metres above sea level. The course is known for excellent conditioning, sunny valley scenery and water features that give it a surprisingly resort-style feel for an alpine location.

For a wider itinerary, the Schladming-Dachstein area also gives access to other regional courses, including Schloss Pichlarn, Radstadt, Ennstal-Weissenbach and Windischgarsten, making Haus useful for golfers who want more than one round without moving hotels every night.

Away from golf, Haus im Ennstal works well for walkers, couples and mixed-interest groups. The Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card can include access to over 100 experiences, including mountain railway rides, museums, swimming pools and leisure activities, which is handy for non-golf days.

For Hashtag Golf Travel customers, Haus im Ennstal is best suited to a scenic summer alpine golf escape, a quieter alternative to Kitzbühel or Zell am See, or part of a wider Austria golf itinerary. It is not a nightlife-heavy destination, but for mountain scenery, peaceful hotels and a proper alpine course, it is a very good fit.
