Located in Bắc Giang province around an hour from Hanoi, Amber Hills Golf & Resort offers a modern and visually impressive golf experience set among rolling hills and open countryside. Designed by Albanese & Lutzke, the course makes full use of the natural terrain to create a layout that is both scenic and challenging.

The 18-hole championship course stretches to over 7,300 yards and is defined by elevation changes, wide fairways and large, undulating greens. While there is room off the tee, the approach shots demand precision, particularly with bunkering and slopes guarding many greens. Elevated tees on several holes provide panoramic views and add to the overall experience.

Amber Hills strikes a good balance between playability and difficulty. It’s accessible for mid-handicappers, but still offers a strong test for more experienced golfers, especially when played from the back tees. The modern design and consistent conditioning make it a reliable option for high-quality golf near Hanoi.
