Zell am See is a superb alpine base for an Austria golf holiday, especially for travellers who want lake views, mountain scenery and a proper summer-holiday feel around the golf. Set beside Lake Zell, with the Schmittenhöhe and Kitzsteinhorn nearby, it offers that classic Austrian mix of fresh air, scenery, smart hotels, lakeside cafés and outdoor activities.
