The Belfry is one of the most iconic golf destinations in the UK, offering three contrasting 18-hole courses at its Sutton Coldfield resort. From Ryder Cup history on The Brabazon to the inland links character of the PGA National and the newly redesigned Derby, there is enough variety here for a complete multi-round golf break without ever leaving the resort.

The headline course is The Brabazon, a par-72 championship layout measuring 7,255 yards. Designed by Dave Thomas and Peter Alliss, it has hosted the Ryder Cup four times – more than any other venue – as well as the British Masters. Water, strategic bunkering and fast, undulating greens create the challenge, while the famous risk-and-reward par-four 10th gives golfers the chance to recreate Seve Ballesteros' celebrated drive towards the green.

The PGA National brings a completely different style. England's only PGA-branded course is a par 72 measuring 7,081 yards, designed with an inland links feel. Fast-running fairways, severe run-offs, undulating greens and around 70 deep bunkers reward creative shot-making and careful course management. The course has also hosted professional European Tour events.

Completing the trio is The Derby, which underwent a major redesign completed in 2026. The par-70, 6,099-yard layout has been transformed into a heathland-style course with natural heather, sculpted white-sand bunkers and plenty of strategic risk-and-reward decisions. It now provides an excellent contrast to both The Brabazon and PGA National.

Practice facilities include the PGA National Golf Academy, Toptracer Driving Range, putting greens and Callaway Short Game Zone, with PGA professional coaching also available.
